Role Overview
As a Videographer based in Ongata Rongai, you will take projects from initial brief through filming and editing, creating campaign videos, product features, event coverage and short-form social content. Your work will help the marketing team present ideas clearly and produce engaging visual material for the brand’s digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and film promotional campaigns, product content, company events and other marketing projects from shoot preparation to final footage.
- Operate cameras, tripods, gimbals, microphones and lighting equipment, using appropriate camera, audio and lighting settings for each scene.
- Edit recorded footage and prepare finished videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
- Enhance edits with colour correction, sound mixing, captions, text, transitions, motion graphics and suitable music.
- Create vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts, adapting format and duration to each platform.
- Work with marketing colleagues to develop briefs into storyboards, shot plans and filming schedules.
- Keep footage, project files and finished assets organised, with suitable backups for future use.
- Capture still photographs and other visual assets when required, and keep informed about relevant social video trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least two years of practical experience in videography, video editing or multimedia content production.
- A certificate or diploma in Film Production, Mass Communication, Photography, Multimedia or a related discipline.
- A showreel or portfolio demonstrating video production, composition and editing skills.
- Working proficiency in at least one editing application such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or CapCut.
- Practical knowledge of camera controls, including ISO, aperture and frame rates, as well as audio levels and lighting setup.
- Strong visual judgement, storytelling ability and attention to pacing and continuity.
- Ability to organise work and meet short production and editing deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work and filming assignments in Ongata Rongai, Kenya.
What We Offer / Why Join
