Role Overview
This full-time, on-site role in Kileleshwa, Nairobi, combines graphic design with practical WordPress website management for a solar energy business. You will turn renewable energy products and technical information into clear, consistent visual content for customers, sales teams and digital channels, helping the company explain its offerings and support marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Create brochures, flyers, company profiles, product manuals, banners and presentation materials for marketing and sales.
- Apply the company’s visual identity consistently across print materials, website content and social media assets.
- Develop campaign and event graphics for product launches, exhibitions, trade shows and other promotional activities.
- Update WordPress pages, product listings and website banners, making basic HTML or CSS changes where needed to improve layout and mobile display.
- Design digital content such as social media graphics, carousels, infographics, icons and short promotional videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok.
- Work with sales and marketing colleagues to create visual materials that support product awareness and lead-generation campaigns.
- Explain solar products, system components and installation processes through accessible diagrams and other visual formats.
- Manage design assignments from initial brief through final files, and liaise with print vendors to prepare physical materials.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Multimedia Design or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, along with tools such as Canva or Figma.
- Practical experience maintaining a WordPress website or another content management system, and familiarity with HTML and CSS.
- Professional experience producing graphic design and digital media content. Work in renewable energy, engineering, technology or retail is an advantage.
- A portfolio is required, with examples of print design, social media content and website or web-design work.
- Ability to make technical subjects, including solar systems, inverters and net metering, understandable through visual communication.
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to manage several briefs, meet deadlines, present ideas and respond constructively to feedback.
