Role Purpose
We are seeking a high-caliber Regulatory Affairs & Training Manager to act as a dual-pillar of compliance and capability within our organization. Your objective is twofold: ensuring our entire product portfolio remains fully compliant with Kenyan pharmaceutical laws, and spearheading the professional growth of our commercial and technical staff. This role requires executive maturity and a proactive approach to navigating the evolving regulatory landscape while fostering a culture of continuous learning. You will serve as the primary link between the company and regulatory authorities, ensuring seamless market access and high-performing internal teams.
Core Responsibilities
Regulatory Oversight & Compliance

Spearhead product registrations, renewals, and variations, ensuring all submissions are precise and timely.

Guarantee that all import/export activities and internal operations adhere to healthcare regulatory requirements.

Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) and other key stakeholders.

Monitor legislative shifts in the pharmaceutical sector, providing proactive guidance to senior leadership on risk mitigation.

Support all internal and external audits, ensuring a state of constant inspection readiness.
Training & Capability Development

Design and execute comprehensive training frameworks for both commercial and technical departments.

Conduct training needs assessments (TNA) to identify skill gaps and implement corrective coaching.

Lead sessions on product knowledge and regulatory changes to ensure teams are technically proficient.

Measure the impact of training initiatives, refining programs to enhance overall organizational performance.

Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated with the necessary compliance knowledge.
Expertise Profile
The Essentials

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Life Sciences.

Domain Expertise: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in regulatory affairs, with a proven track record in successful product registrations.

Sector Background: Deep knowledge of the Kenyan pharmaceutical regulatory framework and stakeholder landscape.

Leadership: Prior experience in coaching, training, or managing multidisciplinary teams.
