Description:
A well-established organization operating across the education, construction, and group of companies sectors is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Manager / Senior Accounts Manager in Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for finance professionals with strong expertise in project accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance within the UAE.
The successful candidate will oversee construction and project finance activities while ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with banks, auditors, consultants, and other external stakeholders. Candidates currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project finance, construction accounting, and financial reporting activities.
• Maintain accurate records for CWIP, fixed assets, and related accounting transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and other financial regulations.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and external advisers.
• Prepare reconciliations, financial analyses, and management reports.
• Support related-party transactions and transfer pricing compliance requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel tools to manage financial operations efficiently.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with CA qualification.
• 5+ years of overall accounting experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Strong practical experience in project and construction accounting.
• Experience with CWIP and Fixed Assets.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Understanding of related-party transactions and basic Transfer Pricing requirements.
• Strong Excel and ERP/accounting software skills.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting abilities.
• Experience working with banks, auditors, consultants, and external advisers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE-based candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Project and construction accounting
• UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing
• Financial reporting, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel
