Role Overview
This position is the operational engine behind the marketing team, turning campaign plans into real-world action. Day to day, you will coordinate brand activations, support product launches, manage marketing materials and samples for retail partners, and keep every promotional tracker, inventory log, and expense sheet accurate and up to date. Your work directly ensures that field activities run smoothly, retailers have what they need, and leadership can measure what performed well.
Key Responsibilities
- Brief, schedule, and oversee brand ambassadors and promoters for activations, ensuring they have the right uniforms, talking points, samples, and materials before every event.
- Manage activation logistics from setup to teardown, including securing permits or venue access, organising displays, checking attendance, and troubleshooting issues on the ground.
- Collect photos, customer reactions, and quantitative feedback from every activation, then compile post-event summaries that highlight successes, challenges, and recommended improvements.
- Coordinate the distribution of product samples and POSM to retailers and distributors, maintaining clear records of what each partner received and following up on outstanding marketing-related requests.
- Track the full inventory of branded merchandise, uniforms, activation materials, and point-of-sale displays, including regular stock counts, storage organisation, and replenishment orders.
- Gather competitive intelligence by visiting retail outlets, monitoring pricing and promotions, and documenting new product launches, then share findings with the marketing team.
- Assist with consumer surveys and focus group sessions, including participant scheduling, questionnaire distribution, and data collection.
- Maintain marketing calendars, purchase requisitions, supplier documentation, and departmental filing systems, while keeping expense trackers current and reconciling receipts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- One to two years of work experience in marketing, administration, or a customer-facing role, with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for tracking and reporting, PowerPoint for presentation updates, and Word for documentation.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and common digital marketing tools is a plus, as you may support content coordination or data pulls.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail when managing inventories, calendars, and expense records.
- Comfortable working in the field during events, including evenings or weekends as activation schedules require.
