Description:
A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor in Dubai is looking to hire an experienced HSE Officer / Inspector to support major high-rise construction projects. This opportunity is ideal for safety professionals with extensive experience in the construction sector and a strong commitment to maintaining workplace health and safety standards.
The successful candidate will oversee HSE compliance on-site, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and work closely with project teams to maintain a safe working environment. Applicants with EMAAR project experience, recognized HSE certifications, and immediate or short notice availability will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies across construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company procedures, and project safety standards.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site personnel.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with project management teams to improve overall site safety performance.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout all project activities.
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in the construction industry.
• Previous experience working on high-rise building projects.
• NEBOSH or an equivalent HSE certification is required.
• Experience working on EMAAR projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Currently based in the UAE.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice availability will be preferred.
