A specialty coffee brand in Al Ain is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead its coffee team. This role is ideal for a professional who is committed to delivering exceptional coffee experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service.
The successful candidate will oversee daily coffee operations, ensure consistency in beverage preparation, and mentor the barista team. You should have a deep understanding of specialty coffee techniques and a passion for creating an outstanding café experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the barista team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare and serve high-quality specialty coffee beverages with consistency.
• Maintain coffee quality standards through calibration and espresso extraction.
• Train and mentor baristas on brewing techniques, latte art, and customer service.
• Monitor coffee preparation processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Promote a welcoming and hospitality-focused environment for customers.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Head Barista or Senior Barista in a specialty coffee environment.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Passion for specialty coffee and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to maintain consistency and high-quality beverage standards.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Espresso extraction and manual brewing methods.
• Latte art, calibration, and specialty coffee preparation.
• Coffee quality standards and barista team training.
