Reservations Intern

Role Overview

This internship places a recent graduate inside an active aviation environment, where you will support the daily work of a designated department while building practical knowledge of how the industry operates. You will take on real tasks rather than shadowing from the sidelines, contributing research, documentation and coordination that help your team keep projects and operations moving. For the organisation, the role is a pipeline for capable early-career talent who can grow into future responsibilities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day tasks assigned by your supervising team within the internship discipline you applied for, following agreed priorities and deadlines.
• Gather, organise and review information relevant to your department's work, and summarise findings clearly for colleagues and managers.
• Prepare written materials such as reports, briefings, presentations and internal documentation to support team decisions.
• Coordinate with colleagues across other functions to collect inputs, track actions and keep workstreams on schedule.
• Attend team meetings, briefings and operational discussions, and follow up on action points raised.
• Observe and apply aviation-specific standards, procedures and safety expectations in everything you handle.
• Ask questions, absorb feedback and progressively take on more independent work as your understanding grows.
• Present a summary of your work and learning outcomes at the close of the internship period.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A university degree awarded within the past four years.
• A degree in a field relevant to the internship area you are applying for.
• Additional professional qualifications or certifications relevant to the discipline would be an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain your work clearly to different audiences.
• A demonstrated record of working effectively in a team, including listening, sharing credit and supporting shared goals.
• Learning agility — the ability to pick up new systems, processes and terminology quickly and apply them without constant supervision.
• Professional conduct, reliability and punctuality in an operational workplace.
• A demonstrable interest in the aviation industry, such as through prior study, projects, memberships or personal initiative.
