Role Overview

Summit Human Resource & Marketing Group Ltd is looking for commission-based Sales Representatives to develop clients for its professional business services across Kenya. You will find prospective customers, connect with the people responsible for purchasing services, and move opportunities from initial contact towards a sale.

Representatives can focus on counties or regions where they choose to work, building relationships with organisations and individuals that may need services such as HR, recruitment, outsourcing, cleaning or property support.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify organisations and individuals in your chosen area who may need Summit’s services.
• Research prospective clients and determine which of Summit’s business services may fit their needs.
• Locate and contact relevant decision-makers, including business owners, directors, HR, administration, procurement and operations managers.
• Generate leads through in-person visits, calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, referrals and networking.
• Introduce Summit’s services clearly and arrange meetings with promising prospects.
• Develop sales opportunities and follow up with prospects to progress them towards becoming clients.
• Maintain an organised pipeline of leads, conversations, meetings and potential sales.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A certificate, diploma or degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Commerce or a related discipline is an advantage.
• Relevant sales experience may be accepted in place of formal qualifications.
• Confidence initiating conversations with prospective clients and presenting business services.
• Ability to research prospects, identify suitable decision-makers and generate leads independently.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the persistence to follow up on opportunities.
• Willingness to work on a commission basis and develop business within a chosen Kenyan county or region.
