- Prospect and secure new accounts among commercial facility managers, corporate decision-makers, residential developers, and institutional buyers in the Mombasa Road corridor and surrounding regions.
- Deliver tailored product presentations and solution pitches that explain system specifications, load calculations, energy cost savings, and payback periods in clear, practical terms.
- Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead qualification, site assessment, and proposal writing to pricing negotiation, contract closure, and post-sale handover.
- Track every interaction, deal stage, and forecast in the internal sales database, providing clear performance updates to the Head of Sales and Managing Director.
- Coordinate with engineering, technical survey, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any issues that could affect customer satisfaction.
- Monitor policy changes, competitor pricing, and new solar technologies to adjust sales positioning and uncover emerging market opportunities.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and regional client meetings to promote the brand and build long-term partnerships with contractors, consultants, and distributors.
Requirements & Qualifications

- Solid understanding of both B2B and B2C sales cycles within the Kenyan renewable energy and power backup market.
- Strong deal-closing ability, including experience managing multi-stakeholder corporate purchasing processes and addressing commercial objections.
- Technical knowledge sufficient to interpret solar hardware specifications, electrical load requirements, and system capacity data—and present them in an accessible way.
- Existing connections with corporate buyers, MEP contractors, real estate developers, or electrical distributors are a distinct advantage.
- Self-directed and target-driven, with the discipline to manage daily field visits, maintain schedules, and travel across Nairobi and other regions as needed.
