Real Radiology, LLC is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to support its radiology operations team in a 24/7 remote environment. This role plays an important part in ensuring smooth communication between radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, technologists, and clients to support timely and accurate patient care.
The successful candidate will manage radiology workflows, ensure studies are properly prepared for interpretation, handle operational communications, and maintain compliance with healthcare quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and technologists with daily operational needs.
• Ensure radiology studies are complete and ready for radiologist interpretation.
• Follow up with healthcare sites regarding missing information, images, and required documentation.
• Proofread, update, and amend reports according to quality assurance procedures.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, clients, and internal operations teams.
• Provide timely communication of critical findings and results while maintaining proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ACR and Joint Commission guidelines.
• Provide Level Two phone support to internal and external customers.
• Assist with additional operational and project-based responsibilities.
Requirements:

• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working remotely.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Understanding of radiology medical terminology, concepts, procedures, and modalities.
• 2–3 years of customer support experience is preferred.
• Graduate from an ARRT accredited School of Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• Registered Radiology Technologist certification is preferred.
