Role Overview
Day to day, you will drive revenue growth within a defined territory by proactively reaching out to prospective clients, nurturing existing relationships, and guiding them through tailored product solutions. This role is critical to expanding the company’s market footprint in the healthcare and related sectors, ensuring consistent pipeline development and customer satisfaction that directly impacts the bottom line.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets through strategic outreach and consultative selling.
- Unearth and cultivate fresh business leads within your assigned region, converting them into long-term accounts.
- Handle both incoming sales inquiries and outgoing pursuit of prospects, moving deals through the full sales cycle.
- Foster enduring client partnerships by understanding their evolving needs, resolving issues, and identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
- Keep meticulous records of interactions, deal stages, and sales metrics in the CRM system for accurate forecasting.
- Interpret market trends and sales data to refine territory plans and recommend new business development tactics.
- Design and execute lead generation campaigns, including cold outreach, networking events, and targeted promotions.
- Organise and attend educational workshops, product demonstrations, and community activations to boost brand visibility.
- Support the rollout of marketing initiatives by distributing collateral and capturing customer feedback during campaigns.
- Collaborate with teams across operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless handoffs and superior client experiences.
- Gather frontline insights from clients and competitors to help shape product enhancements and service improvements.
- Compile and deliver weekly and monthly sales reports that highlight progress against goals and actionable recommendations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior sales experience ideally in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, financial services, or B2B environments.
- Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding assigned sales quotas.
- Additional background blending sales with marketing responsibilities is a strong plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable managing data using spreadsheets or CRM tools.
- Self-starter who thrives on initiative, remains resilient in the face of objections, and stays focused on results.
