Position: Sales Assistant (2 Vacancies)

Primary Mandate

We are looking for two energetic and style-conscious Sales Assistants to act as the face of our boutique. Your objective is to drive revenue by providing a personalized shopping experience that connects our customers with the perfect clothing and jewellery pieces. You will be responsible for the entire retail lifecycle—from creating high-impact visual displays and managing inventory to processing secure payments and building long-term customer loyalty. We need a professional who understands that boutique success is built on a blend of proactive sales, impeccable shop presentation, and expert product knowledge.

Core Workstreams

Sales Excellence & Styling

  • Deliver high-touch customer service by greeting clients and identifying their personal style needs.

  • Provide expert styling advice, suggesting jewelry and accessory pairings to complement clothing choices.

  • Actively pursue daily and monthly sales targets through suggestive selling and product knowledge.

  • Manage the end-to-end checkout process, ensuring all mobile, card, and cash payments are handled with 100% accuracy.

Merchandising & Inventory Control

  • Execute visual merchandising strategies by arranging apparel and jewelry in an attractive, organized manner.

  • Refresh display units regularly to highlight new arrivals, seasonal promotions, and top-selling items.

  • Monitor stock levels daily, reporting low inventory and assisting in periodic physical stock-taking.

  • Maintain the boutique’s aesthetic by ensuring fitting rooms and display sections are pristine and well-organized.

Brand Representation & Growth

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, maintaining a professional and well-presented image at all times.

  • Build and nurture relationships with repeat clients to foster a community of loyal shoppers.

  • Support in-store marketing events, holiday discounts, and promotional launches to increase footfall.

  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback with a solution-oriented and polite demeanor.

Expertise Profile

The Essentials

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in retail sales, specifically within a boutique or fashion environment.

  • Skills: Basic numeracy for transaction processing and a natural flair for communication.

  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of current fashion trends, fabric types, and jewelry styling.
