Job Description

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Executives (50 People Needed)

Salary: KES 28,000 basic (target‑based) plus commissions

Job Purpose

Our client, an ICT and software solutions company, is seeking 50 Sales and Marketing Executives to drive the growth of Bulk SMS, Bulk Email, ICT and IT services, and software products. This is a field‑based, target‑oriented role requiring strong prospecting, relationship‑building, and client‑handling skills.

Your Role

  • Generate and close new business across assigned territories and sectors.

  • Act as the main sales and support contact for clients, from first call to long‑term relationship.

Main Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities.

  • Promote and sell Bulk SMS, Bulk Email, ICT and IT services, software products, and customized solutions.

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead to closure.

  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demos, and negotiations.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and grow long‑term client relationships (individual and corporate).

  • Provide after‑sales support to ensure satisfaction and retention.

  • Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and service needs.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor moves.

  • Share insights to support product development and marketing strategy.

  • Identify new markets, industries, and customer segments for expansion.

Performance & Reporting

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.

  • Submit timely sales reports and performance updates to management.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in ICT solutions, IT services, or software sales (highly advantageous).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • High level of self‑motivation, resilience, and target orientation.

  • Strong prospecting and lead‑generation skills.

  • Basic understanding of ICT and software solutions.
