Job Description

Role Overview

This position puts you in charge of a defined geographic territory as the commercial and operational lead for our electric products business. You will own the full profit-and-loss picture for the region, steering sales, field execution, customer repayment behavior, and service quality across multiple sales channels and stock-holding points. Your daily focus is on making sure every team in the region works with discipline and accountability, so that growth is sustainable, losses stay low, and customers remain satisfied enough to keep using our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of regional business results, including revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, and portfolio health across all sales clusters and sub-channels.
  • Translate the national commercial strategy into a concrete regional action plan, then drive daily execution through field teams and stock-point operations.
  • Expand the customer base by improving agent productivity, opening new sales outlets, and strengthening route coverage without compromising on credit quality.
  • Protect regional margins by controlling operational costs, optimizing stock levels, and reallocating inventory to match demand patterns.
  • Monitor repayment efficiency, product usage, and customer retention closely, intervening quickly when segments underperform or show signs of default risk.
  • Resolve field-level customer issues promptly by coordinating with customer experience and aftersales support teams to reduce complaints and churn.
  • Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a multi-layered field structure that includes sales team leaders, clerks, retention officers, and commission-based agents.
  • Run regular performance reviews, planning sessions, and reporting routines to maintain execution discipline and ensure every team knows its targets and gaps.
  • Oversee stock integrity across all regional warehouses and field locations, including daily reconciliations, aging analysis, surplus redistribution, and loss-prevention controls.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks, market opportunities, and emerging risks, then implement corrective actions and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of field sales management experience, with direct responsibility for remote or widely dispersed teams.
  • Proven background in multi-channel sales environments, ideally within FMCG, pay-as-you-go energy, telecom, or similar high-volume distribution models.
  • Demonstrated ability to hit aggressive sales targets while also improving repayment rates, product usage, and customer loyalty.
  • Strong commercial reasoning and comfort with data—able to read performance dashboards, spot trends, and turn numbers into practical field actions.
  • Hands-on people leadership skills, including recruiting, coaching, and performance-managing staff across different experience levels.
  • Experience maintaining inventory accuracy, preventing stock loss, and running operational controls in a field environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to coordinate across finance, supply chain, customer support, and commercial operations.
  • Composure and decision-making strength in high-pressure, fast-changing situations.
