Our company is guided by a family commitment to quality that goes back to our founding in 1970, when the company established its first butchery outlet in a posh Nairobi suburb to provide quality real halal meat products to the local community. Today QMP operates the largest slaughterhouse and meat processing plant in Kenya. Our Beef, Lamb and processed products are unique as we are one of the few vertically integrated agribusiness in the region. This vertical integration gives us total control of the origin and freshness of all products and enables us to ensure quality at every step. This begins with a robust harvesting program at farms, continues through the implementation of good manufacturing practices at the factory floor and all the way to cold chain delivery through our own fleet of refrigerated vesicles. As a company owned by a Muslim family with high values, QMP places the highest emphasis on full Halal compliance at all times.
