Job Description

Our client is looking for a professional, customer-focused Part-Time Sales Attendant to join a luxury retail setting that specializes in fine jewelry and high-end accessories. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for luxury products and outstanding service, based just off Limuru Road in Nairobi.

As a Sales Attendant, you will be the face of the store, providing expert guidance to customers while maintaining the premium presentation and operational excellence expected in luxury retail. You'll handle everything from customer interactions to daily financial reconciliations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in luxury retail, preferably with fine jewelry or high-end accessories
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory management tools
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • High level of honesty, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Punctual and dependable work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly manner
  • Guide customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry and luxury items
  • Provide detailed product knowledge on materials, pricing, and care instructions
  • Maintain attractive and organized store displays
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
  • Ensure the store is clean, secure, and well-presented
  • Reconcile daily sales and transactions against POS records
  • Count and verify cash, card, and mobile payments (e.g., M-Pesa)
  • Prepare daily sales reports and highlight discrepancies
  • Safely package and secure cash for banking
  • Coordinate or carry out bank deposits as required
  • Maintain accurate financial records and submit reports to management

Compensation: KSH 1,000 per day
