Position: Part-Time Sales Attendant

The Objective

We are seeking a sophisticated and reliable Sales Attendant to represent our luxury jewelry brand on a part-time basis. Your primary mission is to provide an elevated shopping experience, guiding discerning clients through the selection of fine materials and luxury items. Beyond floor sales, you will hold significant responsibility for the store's operational integrity, including inventory monitoring and rigorous daily financial reconciliations. This role requires a blend of high-end service etiquette and administrative precision to ensure the boutique remains secure, profitable, and impeccably presented.

Accountability Areas

Boutique Sales & Client Engagement

  • Greet and assist customers with a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable demeanor.

  • Act as a product expert, explaining material quality, pricing structures, and long-term care instructions for luxury items.

  • Maintain an attractive and high-standard store display to drive visual appeal and sales.

  • Handle customer inquiries and after-sales support with the grace expected in the luxury sector.

Operational & Inventory Oversight

  • Process all sales transactions with 100% accuracy using the store’s POS system.

  • Monitor stock levels continuously and assist in periodic inventory audits to prevent shortages.

  • Ensure the premises are secure and well-presented throughout the shift.

  • Manage the safe packaging and security of cash and assets during and after trading hours.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Conduct daily sales reconciliations, matching physical transactions against POS records.

  • Verify and count all payment forms, including cash, card, and mobile money (M-Pesa).

  • Prepare detailed daily reports for management, highlighting any discrepancies immediately.

  • Coordinate bank deposits and maintain accurate financial records to ensure full transparency.
