Role Overview
This internship places you inside a working finance or accounts function, where you will support day-to-day record-keeping and reporting while learning how real organisational operations run. Your contributions will help keep financial processes accurate and timely, and the experience is designed to build your practical skills through hands-on involvement in meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation
- Support monthly and periodic reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy
- Help process invoices, payments, and expense records in line with internal controls
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and presentations
- Participate in data entry, verification, and cleanup activities using accounting and office software
- Work with team members on finance-related projects and process improvement initiatives
- Perform administrative and organisational duties as needed to support smooth operations
Requirements & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Degree or Diploma in Accounts, Finance, or a related business qualification from a recognised institution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across teams
- High level of computer proficiency, including spreadsheets, accounting software, and digital tools
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail in handling financial information
- Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to adjust working hours and support occasional after-hours needs or travel
- A fast learner with a positive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and ability to collaborate as a team player
