Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic, detail-obsessed Housekeeping Supervisor to manage our daily facility presentations and environmental sanitation standards. Your primary objective is to lead a dedicated team of room attendants and cleaners, ensuring that all guest accommodations, common lounges, and back-of-house corridors reflect absolute luxury and hygiene. This position bridges active physical quality auditing with administrative crew management; you will guide floor operations from early-morning duty assignments and chemical inventory checks through to final evening room handovers. The role demands an assertive, standards-driven professional who understands hotel metrics and can maintain an immaculate property layout under high occupancy timelines.
Areas of Accountability
Operations Supervision & Facility Inspections

Direct and synchronize daily housekeeping workflows to ensure rapid turnaround times and fluid property operations.

Map out clear daily room assignments, deep-cleaning rotations, and equitable weekly work rosters for all cleaning personnel.

Execute rigorous, systematic inspections of occupied guest rooms, departure turnovers, public reception spaces, and internal staff facilities to guarantee flawless aesthetic and hygiene standards.
Team Leadership, Onboarding & Performance Tracking

Train, coach, and guide junior room attendants and cleaners on advanced fabric care, chemical applications, and guest room presentation methods.

Enforce strict compliance with hospitality policies, professional grooming codes, and standard operating protocols.

Monitor daily clock-in times, floor productivity, and individual task completion speeds, addressing behavioral anomalies promptly.

Mediate internal team grievances and handle immediate frontline operational bottlenecks with constructive fairness.
Quality Assurance & Guest Experience

Maintain unyielding standards of property sanitation, odor management, presentation neatness, and total guest comfort.

Diagnose recurring maintenance issues or room wear-and-tear patterns, rolling out immediate corrective restoration measures.

Field guest housekeeping requests and resolve hospitality service complaints with speed, discretion, and absolute professionalism.

Supervise the safe operation, physical cleaning, and preventative maintenance of vacuum cleaners, laundry hardware, and floor scrubbers.
Inventory Logistics & Health Standards

Monitor, count, and log current stock levels of premium guest linens, bathroom amenities, and industrial cleaning detergents.

Draft timely procurement requisitions for depleted stock items and report technical maintenance defects to the engineering division.

Enforce total compliance with public health, sanitation codes, and occupational safety regulations on site.

Champion the secure storage, dilution ratios, and safety labeling of all cleaning chemicals, preserving a safe workspace for team members and guests.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum Entry Criteria

Academic Foundation: Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a matching technical discipline from a recognized institution.

Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive supervisory experience managing a housekeeping cohort within a busy hotel, resort, or premium lodge environment.

Operational Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of fabric care, modern cleaning methods, room setups, and premium chemical safety parameters.

Administrative Savvy: Practical competency compiling shift records, filling out inspection checklists, and writing basic material consumption summaries.
