Novel Hotel City Center in Abu Dhabi is looking for a dedicated and dependable Housekeeping Runner to become part of its housekeeping team. This role is ideal for individuals with previous UAE hotel experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
The successful candidate will support the housekeeping department by delivering supplies, assisting room attendants, maintaining organized work areas, and ensuring hotel standards are consistently met. Candidates should be physically fit, team-oriented, and capable of working flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clean linen, towels, guest amenities, and housekeeping supplies to guest rooms and designated service areas.
• Collect used linen, waste materials, and other housekeeping items for proper disposal or processing.
• Support Room Attendants and the housekeeping team with daily operational activities.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys, storage rooms, corridors, and service areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and instructions from Housekeeping Supervisors.
• Handle housekeeping tools, equipment, and supplies with care and responsibility.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and lost & found property to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow hotel policies, safety regulations, hygiene standards, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
Requirements:
• Previous UAE hotel housekeeping experience is mandatory.
• Experience as a Housekeeping Runner or in a similar hotel position is preferred.
• Good understanding of housekeeping procedures and hospitality standards.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving walking, standing, lifting, and carrying.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Positive attitude with a responsible and hardworking approach.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Strong knowledge of:
• Housekeeping operations
• Hotel cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Safe handling of housekeeping equipment and supplies
