Description:
A well-established company operating in Dubai’s fruits and vegetable trading sector is currently looking to hire an experienced and motivated General Accountant to join its growing operations team located in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 3 – Aweer Fruits & Vegetable Market, Dubai.
The company is searching for a dedicated accounting professional who can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess solid UAE accounting experience, excellent organizational abilities, and strong attention to financial details.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
• Manage General Ledger (GL) activities and ensure all entries are properly recorded
• Process and monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations on a regular basis
• Maintain financial documentation and ensure proper filing of accounting records
• Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and supporting documents
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial matters
• Ensure accounting processes are completed according to company policies and procedures
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Monitor financial transactions with strong accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of accounting experience within the UAE market
• Strong understanding of general accounting procedures and principles
• Hands-on experience with General Ledger management
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Experience handling reconciliations and financial reporting support
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently
• Good communication and coordination skills
