Across Gulf Voyages is expanding its team in Dubai and is seeking experienced professionals for the positions of Accountant and Holidays Consultant. The company is looking for candidates with a strong background in the travel industry who can contribute effectively from day one.
The Accountant will be responsible for handling travel agency financial operations, while the Holidays Consultant will manage outbound holiday packages and provide customized travel solutions. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently based in the UAE and possess relevant travel agency experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage travel agency accounting activities, including BSP reconciliation, supplier payments, receivables, and VAT compliance.
• Design, price, and sell outbound holiday packages based on customer requirements.
• Build travel itineraries independently while maintaining strong relationships with travel suppliers.
• Ensure accurate financial records and deliver excellent customer service throughout the booking process.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a travel agency is mandatory for both positions.
• Strong knowledge of travel accounting procedures or outbound holiday sales, depending on the role.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• BSP reconciliation and VAT processes.
• Travel accounting software.
• Holiday package planning, destination knowledge, and supplier coordination.
