We are creating the foundations of an idea - a premium experience, sustainable all round, and most importantly delicious restaurant quality delivery-only food that travels well. At Ando, we create our own digital-only food concepts, starting off with Khans - Pakistani Kitchen - an authentic Pakistani food brand. Our technology accurately predicts the right amount of ingredients to order and prepare for each of our kitchens' dishes on a daily basis. A great way to drastically reduce food waste. Job Description

Role Overview

As a Finance Intern, you’ll help keep day-to-day financial transactions accurate across a multi-brand business with several locations. You’ll trace sales and payments from different channels, resolve mismatches, and support the reporting and close processes that give the Finance team a reliable view of performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile daily sales across brands, branches, and sales platforms.
  • Match M-Pesa, card, cash, and bank transactions against supporting records.
  • Process supplier invoices and assist with accounts payable tracking.
  • Investigate variances, refunds, unpaid or missing transactions, and other discrepancies, following up as needed.
  • Help prepare month-end close materials, participate in stock takes, and support food-cost reporting.
  • Maintain orderly, accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Compile reports and provide day-to-day assistance to the wider Finance team.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline, either completed or in the final year of study.
  • CPA Part I or above, or currently pursuing CPA(K) or ACCA, is preferred.
  • Strong Excel capability, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP.
  • Careful, accurate approach to working with figures and financial records.
  • Well organised and proactive, with the confidence to investigate and follow up on unreconciled items.
  • Experience with accounting systems, M-Pesa reconciliation, or Kenyan tax matters is an advantage.

What We Offer / Why Join

The role offers practical exposure to the full transaction cycle across multiple brands and locations, with hands-on experience in reconciliations, payables, month-end support, stock takes, and food-cost reporting.
