Role Overview
Based in Westlands, this accounting role supports the day-to-day handling of supplier payments, customer receipts and credit follow-up. Accurate records and clear communication will help keep financial transactions organised and support reliable business operations; experience in the travel industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor accounts payable, keeping payment records accurate and up to date.
- Track customer balances and follow up on overdue amounts as part of credit control.
- Record and reconcile incoming payments and other accounts receivable transactions.
- Use accounting systems and software to maintain financial data and support routine accounting work.
- Review account records for discrepancies and raise issues for resolution.
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues about account matters.
- Handle financial information responsibly and maintain a high standard of integrity.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience; travel-industry experience is preferred.
- Practical experience with accounting systems and accounting software.
- Experience in accounts payable, credit control and accounts receivable.
- Good communication skills and a reputation for integrity.
- CPA qualification or another relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
