Direct Sales Executive — Telecom & Fixed Wireless
Role Overview
The Direct Sales Executive is the frontline engine behind subscriber growth for our fixed wireless and telecom services, working in the field to turn prospects into active, loyal customers. On a typical day you will run activations, guide new subscribers through KYC and onboarding, and solve the first-line technical issues that could otherwise cost us a sale or a renewal. Because you are the face of the brand in estates, malls, and roadshows, your ability to read the market and act on it directly shapes our revenue and retention numbers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive subscriber acquisition through face-to-face selling at roadshows, estate activations, mall campaigns, and other on-ground events.
- Complete every onboarding step accurately—including KYC verification and customer education—while meeting agreed service-level timelines.
- Work with line management to design, launch, and track sales campaigns, then report on how well they perform.
- Retrieve devices from customers who fall outside compliance or payment terms, following company recovery procedures.
- Handle first-level troubleshooting for connectivity, device, or service complaints, and escalate network or unresolved issues to the right internal team.
- Compile daily target results and monthly market trend analyses, and build dashboards for weekly performance reviews plus ad-hoc reporting requests.
- Keep a close watch on competitor promotions, pricing, and device offers, and feed customer insights back to the business with suggestions for products or packages.
- Maintain a strong commercial grasp of packages, devices, and commission structures so you can match the right offer to each customer.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or an equivalent field.
- At least one year of outdoor or field sales experience; telecom or fixed wireless background is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of 5G and fixed wireless services, and comfort using digital tools for reporting and customer management.
- Commercial awareness of how competition, device pricing, packages, and commission schemes affect sales decisions.
- Proven resilience and a track record of hitting stretch targets in a performance-driven environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset—able to plan your own routes and activations, stay organized, and keep momentum without constant supervision.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic about spending most of the workday in the field engaging customers.
