Job Description

Role Overview

As the Digital Production Assistant, you will work alongside the Digital Production Coordinator to turn raw recordings into polished, broadcast-ready content for online streaming and digital ministry platforms. Your day-to-day involves capturing video and audio, editing and mixing media, and supporting live and pre-recorded programming for CITAM Church Online. This role directly supports the Head of Digital Ministry and helps the media team deliver clear, engaging, and technically sound content to the church's online audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality video, audio, and promotional multimedia content for broadcast and digital platforms, including CITAM Church Online.
  • Operate specialized editing, motion graphics, and audio production software to turn scripts and production briefs into finished media.
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment to ensure reliable production and clear sound capture.
  • Enhance live recorded audio using mixing consoles, microphones, and equalizers for a polished final mix.
  • Coordinate podcast production, including recording, editing, and post-production, in collaboration with relevant ministry teams.
  • Review, quality-check, archive, and manage production footage and digital media assets for future use.
  • Work closely with the Production Coordinator and other stakeholders to improve production quality, test emerging technologies, and support the media ministry's goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
  • A degree from a recognized institution in film and TV production, videography, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in video production and sound/audio engineering.
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut.
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D, compositing, and AI software is an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to operate digital cameras in multi-production projects.
