A leading IT and Technology company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Data Network Engineer to join its technical team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable network performance, supporting infrastructure deployments, and resolving connectivity issues. Candidates with practical experience in routing, switching, and Extreme Networks technologies will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot data network infrastructure and connectivity.
• Manage routing, switching, VLANs, LAN/WAN, and TCP/IP network environments.
• Monitor network performance and resolve technical issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Support network installations, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure implementations.
• Collaborate with technical teams and clients to maintain smooth and secure network operations.
Requirements:
• Strong hands-on experience in data networking and network infrastructure.
• Practical experience configuring and managing network switches and routers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with networking technologies and connectivity issues.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Routing, Switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN technologies.
• Network implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Extreme Networks solutions (preferred).
