Minimum Requirements (Likely)

Applicants should:

• Hold relevant academic qualifications (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Social Sciences, Human Rights, HR, or related fields).

• Have prior experience in project management, community engagement, HR, grants management, or compliance depending on the role.

• Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Be familiar with human rights frameworks, constitutional governance, and NGO operational standards.

• Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with HURIA’s mission of advancing and mainstreaming a culture of human rights in Kenya.

Role‑specific expectations:

• Project Officers: Implement community programs, conduct advocacy, and support human rights initiatives across counties.

• Human Resource Manager: Oversee HR policies, staff welfare, and organizational development.

• Grants & Compliance Manager: Manage donor relations, ensure compliance with funding requirements, and oversee reporting.
