Business Manager – East Africa HPE Enterprise Solutions at Red Dot Distribution

We are seeking a dynamic Business Manager to spearhead HPE’s enterprise solutions across East Africa. This pivotal role carries full P&L ownership for Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Rwanda—five of the region’s fastest-growing markets. You’ll lead a high-performing sales team, drive revenue and gross profit growth, and build strategic partnerships with top enterprise customers. This is a rare opportunity to make a lasting impact across diverse industries including banking, telecommunications, government, and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L accountability across five countries, owning revenue and gross profit targets
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five Sales Executives across the region
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-level executives at key enterprise accounts
- Drive adoption of HPE’s compute, storage, and networking solutions across core verticals
- Champion market development and customer engagement initiatives
- Oversee pipeline management and ensure forecasting accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and align with key stakeholders
- Travel across the region to support customers and empower your team
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT sales (servers, storage, networking)
- 3+ years of proven success in sales leadership and team management
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and consistently exceed targets
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure vendors (HPE, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo, etc.)
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage confidently with CIOs and IT Directors
- Deep knowledge of the East Africa market is a significant advantage
