Description:
AWS Distribution Healthcare is seeking a skilled and motivated Biomedical Service Engineer to join its expanding team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in servicing biomedical equipment who are passionate about delivering reliable technical support and ensuring the highest standards of equipment performance.
The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of medical equipment while providing excellent customer support. The role also involves managing maintenance contracts, conducting equipment inspections, and traveling across the UAE to provide onsite technical services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, commission, calibrate, and configure biomedical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on medical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections, performance testing, and safety compliance checks.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Deliver technical support and user training to healthcare clients.
• Acquire, manage, and support Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC/CMC).
• Build strong customer relationships while ensuring prompt and professional service delivery.
• Travel across the UAE to provide onsite technical support when required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in biomedical equipment servicing.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic, imaging, ICU, OT, or laboratory medical equipment.
• Experience managing and supporting biomedical equipment service contracts (AMC/CMC).
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UAE for onsite service assignments.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of:
• Installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of biomedical equipment.
• Diagnostic, imaging, ICU, OT, and laboratory medical devices.
• Preventive maintenance procedures, AMC/CMC management, and technical troubleshooting.
