Accountant – Hospitality Industry
Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, reconciliations, and accounting operations within the hospitality sector. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of industry-specific accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial records, including receipts, invoicing, and filing
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all transactions
- Conduct revenue reconciliations and support cost accounting processes
- Oversee inventory accounting and related reporting
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory compliance
- Prepare financial reports and support month-end close activities
- Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reviews
Qualifications
- CPA qualification or progress towards professional certification
- 2–3 years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, restaurant, club, or food & beverage)
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and revenue reconciliation
- Proven experience in receipts, invoicing, filing, and bank reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Female candidates are preferred; must have a professional and detail-oriented approach
