Description:
Navistar Cargo L.L.C., a company operating within the freight forwarding and logistics industry in Dubai, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to become part of its growing finance and operations team based in Deira, Dubai.
The company is looking for an organized and detail-focused accounting professional who can support financial operations while contributing to the smooth coordination of logistics-related accounting activities. Candidates with previous experience in the freight forwarding or logistics sector will have an added advantage.
This opportunity is suitable for applicants who are capable of managing accounting responsibilities efficiently while maintaining accuracy in reporting and financial coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily accounting and financial operations of the company
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation
• Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment coordination
• Prepare financial reports and support internal accounting procedures
• Coordinate with operational and logistics departments regarding financial matters
• Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and on time
• Assist with reconciliations and reporting tasks as required
• Support finance-related administrative duties and record management
Requirements:
• Previous accounting experience is preferred
• Experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry will be considered an advantage
• Good understanding of finance, accounting, and reporting procedures
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• UAE work experience will add value to the application
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail
