A client in the UAE is looking to hire an experienced Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals with practical experience in UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing accounting responsibilities while ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations. Applicants with UAE work experience and a valid UAE driving license are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and process accounting entries in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including VAT calculations and documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper accounting records and reconcile financial data.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial information.
• Support finance operations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in accounting.
• UAE VAT experience is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Candidates with UAE work experience are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE accounting standards and financial reporting.
• UAE VAT regulations, compliance, and documentation.
• Accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and bookkeeping procedures.
