Role Overview
As an Accountant at a metal manufacturing business in Dubai, you’ll handle routine financial activity and keep the company’s accounting records accurate and up to date. Your work will support dependable reporting and help the finance team complete reconciliations and other operational tasks on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and process day-to-day accounting transactions, checking entries for accuracy.
- Handle invoices, payments, receipts, and related financial documents.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate differences in recorded balances.
- Maintain organised bookkeeping records in line with internal procedures.
- Update financial information promptly in the accounting system.
- Prepare routine financial reports and complete assigned accounting work by its deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Three to five years of relevant accounting experience.
- A B.Com degree or a graduate qualification in finance or accounting.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, transaction processing, and account reconciliation.
- Practical proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload accurately and meet deadlines.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
