Job Description

Business Development Intern

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our growing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in promoting technology solutions, identifying new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and supporting strategic growth initiatives within a fast-paced software development environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess market trends and competitor activities to devise effective strategies.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Research and analyze market conditions to uncover new opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close deals with potential clients and partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Identify and follow up on new business opportunities for the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology (BBIT), Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market trends and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Proven experience in the sales and marketing of IT software solutions will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience as a Technical IT Sales Representative or in a similar technology-focused sales role will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in preparing, coordinating, and managing Request for Proposals (RFPs), tender responses, and bid documentation will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrate excellent speaking, writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively.
