About the job

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to drive sales growth and expand our market presence in ceramic products and sanitary ware. The successful candidate will manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer experience across the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales of ceramic products and sanitary ware within the assigned region, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Develop and expand the customer base while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Build and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and wholesalers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities; meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, regional demand trends, and competitor activities.
  • Gather and analyze competitor and market intelligence, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Present product features, benefits, and provide guidance on installation and maintenance.
  • Recommend suitable products tailored to customer needs (color, finish, size, and performance).
  • Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and order confirmations; follow up to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and coordinate product displays, merchandising, and showroom presentation for strong brand visibility.
  • Conduct product demonstrations in showrooms and at customer sites.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams on availability, lead times, and backorders.
  • Address and resolve after-sales issues professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, product launches, and training sessions for staff and clients.
  • Liaise with manufacturing and quality control teams to resolve product-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and documentation for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including sustainability and certification requirements.
  • Keep customer accounts updated and follow up on payments to ensure timely collections.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of proven sales experience; experience in ceramics, tiles, sanitary ware, or building materials is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ceramic products, including finishes, sizes, installation methods, and maintenance requirements.
  • Solid knowledge of regional market dynamics and customer relationship management.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
  • Experience using CRM systems and other sales tracking tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Flexible to work Monday–Saturday and comfortable with extensive fieldwork.
