Job Description

Job Overview:
We are looking for dynamic and target-driven Sales Representatives to join our team in Ngara. The role involves acquiring new clients, promoting laboratory supplies, managing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in the field to drive sales growth across schools, clinics, laboratories, and training institutes.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Acquisition & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients including schools, universities, clinics, and labs

  • Conduct cold calls, field visits, walk-ins, and referrals to generate leads

  • Map and cover assigned areas like Ngara, Pangani, and Parklands

Sales & Product Promotion

  • Present and explain laboratory products in simple, non-technical terms

  • Recommend suitable products based on customer needs (training provided)

  • Prepare quotations and upsell or cross-sell related items

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Conduct regular check-ins for restocking and satisfaction

  • Encourage repeat business and referrals

Order Management & Follow-Up

  • Process orders accurately and coordinate timely delivery

  • Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and payments

  • Handle customer complaints professionally

Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Maintain daily records of sales activities and provide updates to management

  • Monitor competitor activity and local market trends

Field Work & Market Coverage

  • Conduct regular visits and demos at client sites

  • Represent the company professionally in all interactions

Product Learning

  • Acquire basic knowledge of products, pricing, and promotions

  • Confidently explain product benefits without technical expertise

Payment Collection Support

  • Assist in following up on outstanding payments

  • Maintain accurate records of invoices and receipts

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in any field

  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or a related area

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)
