Job Overview:
We are looking for dynamic and target-driven Sales Representatives to join our team in Ngara. The role involves acquiring new clients, promoting laboratory supplies, managing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in the field to drive sales growth across schools, clinics, laboratories, and training institutes.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition & Prospecting
Identify potential clients including schools, universities, clinics, and labs
Conduct cold calls, field visits, walk-ins, and referrals to generate leads
Map and cover assigned areas like Ngara, Pangani, and Parklands
Sales & Product Promotion
Present and explain laboratory products in simple, non-technical terms
Recommend suitable products based on customer needs (training provided)
Prepare quotations and upsell or cross-sell related items
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Conduct regular check-ins for restocking and satisfaction
Encourage repeat business and referrals
Order Management & Follow-Up
Process orders accurately and coordinate timely delivery
Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and payments
Handle customer complaints professionally
Sales Targets & Reporting
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Maintain daily records of sales activities and provide updates to management
Monitor competitor activity and local market trends
Field Work & Market Coverage
Conduct regular visits and demos at client sites
Represent the company professionally in all interactions
Product Learning
Acquire basic knowledge of products, pricing, and promotions
Confidently explain product benefits without technical expertise
Payment Collection Support
Assist in following up on outstanding payments
Maintain accurate records of invoices and receipts
Key Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in any field
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or a related area
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email)
