Role Overview
You will take operational ownership of the user acceptance testing phase for a system implementation that involves two external partner organisations, acting as the bridge between the Independent QA team and the business reviewers who ultimately approve the release. Your day-to-day focus is making sure every module is tested by the right person at the right time, and that their formal go/no-go decision is captured cleanly before the go-live readiness review. In short, you turn a complex cross-company testing plan into a calm, executed process that never leaves the business scrambling at the last minute.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a consolidated UAT schedule that respects the availability of business reviewers from both partner organisations, flagging and resolving conflicts as soon as they appear.
- Prepare the complete UAT test pack and run structured walkthrough sessions so each business reviewer knows exactly which scenarios they need to execute and how to record the results.
- Act as the single point of contact for all scheduling confirmations, rescheduling requests, and last-minute capacity changes during the UAT window.
- Track the progress of every application module against its named business reviewer, logging each go/no-go decision as it is submitted.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding reviews and escalate any sign-off bottlenecks to the Independent QA leadership before they threaten the go-live date.
- Organise and chair formal sign-off meetings, making sure each module receives written confirmation from the appropriate business owner.
- Compile a completion summary for the go-live readiness review, clearly showing which modules are approved, which are pending, and which have open issues that need attention.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience coordinating user acceptance testing across multiple departments or external organisations, with direct responsibility for schedules and formal approvals.
- Strong facilitation skills, with the confidence to guide non-technical business users through test scripts and governance processes without slipping into technical jargon.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders from different companies, including handling conflicting priorities, tight availability windows, and different working styles.
- Excellent attention to detail when tracking per-module status, named approvers, and evidence of completed reviews.
- Comfort using standard scheduling, email, spreadsheet, and test management tools to keep a large group of participants aligned and informed.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with a natural inclination to chase responses and escalate risks early rather than waiting for problems to surface.
