Fit-Out Estimator

Role Overview

As a Fit-Out Estimator, you will assess the scope and cost of interior fit-out projects, turning drawings and tender information into clear, dependable pricing. Your estimates will help the team prepare competitive bids and give project colleagues a sound cost basis for planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build project estimates and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for interior fit-out work.
• Examine drawings, specifications and tender packages to identify scope, quantities and cost requirements.
• Price materials, labour and other project components, checking calculations for accuracy and completeness.
• Request and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations, comparing prices and proposed scope.
• Discuss technical requirements and cost assumptions with project and technical teams.
• Contribute cost information to tender submissions and complete estimates to required deadlines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience estimating interior fit-out projects.
• Practical knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost analysis, material pricing and project budgeting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills when working with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline is listed as an estimated qualification.
