Role Overview
As a Training Specialist, you will build and deliver learning programs that help CloudFactory teams and clients develop the skills they need to succeed. Your day-to-day work involves creating and adapting training materials, leading sessions, collecting participant feedback, and keeping training records accurate so that every learning experience is measurable and effective. You’ll partner closely with senior colleagues in a mission-driven environment, supporting the full training cycle from needs analysis to evaluation for a fixed-term engagement of 9 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Support training needs assessments by gathering and reviewing performance data to pinpoint skill gaps and define required learning content.
- Create, customize, and maintain learning resources and materials, following established guidelines and with input from senior staff.
- Deliver routine training sessions using prepared lesson plans, and set up learning environments to ensure smooth, engaging delivery.
- Administer learning program evaluations by collecting and summarizing participant feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate training records and keep the learning resource catalogue current and organized.
- Prepare regular reports on training activity, completion rates, and outcomes for review by leadership.
- Work with colleagues and clients to understand audience needs, then draft clear content that addresses those needs; moderate and review content from others against quality standards.
- Conduct routine assessments of knowledge and skills using defined methods, and document best practices and tools to support consistent training delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in training and development, including hands-on work creating and delivering learning materials and sessions.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions effectively.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize your own workload with minimal supervision across multiple tasks.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Basic data analysis skills to gather, clean, and interpret training-related data.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, privacy, security, and ethical standards, with a commitment to compliance and InfoSec guidelines.
- Competence in building positive stakeholder relationships and participating actively in team discussions with constructive feedback.
