Role Overview
This role owns the bridge between national marketing strategy and on-the-ground sales execution across an LPG distribution network. Day to day, you will design depot-level activation plans, equip field teams with practical campaign assets, and run promotions that turn brand visibility into new customer sign-ups and repeat usage. Your work directly determines whether marketing spend produces measurable growth in leads, installations, and agent productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine trade marketing plans for depot clusters, tailoring national growth targets into local field campaigns and seasonal promotions.
- Plan and execute below-the-line activities such as community demonstrations, outdoor events, and agent-led customer touchpoints to generate qualified sales leads.
- Create a complete sales enablement toolkit for growth representatives, including product education guides, safety materials, PAYGO explainers, and objection-handling scripts.
- Coordinate with depot and operations teams to enforce brand visibility standards through signage, banners, point-of-sale displays, and exterior branding.
- Launch customer awareness initiatives focused on LPG adoption, safe usage, and the benefits of the pay-as-you-go model, partnering with retention teams to reinforce ongoing education.
- Track campaign outcomes against commercial metrics such as lead volume, installation conversion rate, sales productivity lift, and return on marketing investment.
- Manage external vendors and suppliers to ensure promotional materials are delivered on time, within budget, and to brand guidelines.
- Supervise and mentor trade marketing associates, ensuring field execution quality, timely reporting, and consistent performance tracking.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or sales activation, ideally within consumer goods, energy, or distributed retail networks.
- Proven hands-on experience designing and executing both above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns that have directly influenced customer acquisition and revenue.
- Demonstrated ability to work alongside field sales teams, independent agents, or distributor networks and align marketing activity with territorial sales goals.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience evaluating campaign return on investment, conversion funnels, and channel performance data.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across sales, operations, customer success, and external creative or production partners.
- Solid budget management and project planning capabilities, including vendor coordination and deadline management.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel regularly to depot locations and field activation sites as needed.
