Role Description

  • This is a full-time, on-site Team Leader/Unit Manager role based in Nairobi County, Kenya.
  • The Team Leader/Unit Manager will oversee and coordinate the activities of a sales team to achieve defined targets.
  • Daily responsibilities include recruiting, training, and mentoring team members, setting goals and objectives, monitoring team performance, and implementing strategies to drive business growth.
  • The role also involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies, as well as maintaining excellent customer service and client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and motivate team members effectively
  • Sales and marketing expertise, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Analytical thinking and strategic planning abilities for developing and implementing business strategies
  • Proficient in time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulatory standards is advantageous
  • Minimum diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Ecop compliant
  • 2026 IRA License
  • Experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in the insurance or financial services sectors
