Role Overview
This position sits at the heart of the student admissions journey, acting as the bridge between people considering further training and the programmes that can advance their careers. Day to day, you will engage with prospective learners over the phone and through other channels, understand their goals, and support them from first contact all the way to confirmed enrolment. Your ability to listen, advise, and stay organised directly impacts both the growth of the institution and the satisfaction of every applicant you guide.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively initiate contact with prospective students and maintain consistent follow-up to keep them engaged throughout the decision-making process.
- Provide clear, tailored career guidance and match applicants with the training programmes that best fit their background and objectives.
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with prospective students, responding to questions promptly and showing genuine interest in their success.
- Support applicants through every stage of admissions and registration, including document collection, form submission, and fee-related queries.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all interactions and student details in Zoho CRM to enable smooth tracking and reporting.
- Work towards and achieve monthly enrolment targets, using a structured and proactive approach to pipeline management.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first enquiry to post-enrolment check-in, ensuring applicants feel informed and valued.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Education, or a related field.
- Prior experience in sales, admissions, customer service, or student recruitment is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and in person.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused, with the discipline to manage your own workload effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Zoho is an added advantage, as is general comfort with digital record-keeping tools.
