Job Description
STORES SUPERVISOR
Our Client in Events Management business is seeking to recruit a fully qualified and talented Store Supervisor as per following brief: -
Highlights of Key Responsibilities
- Store operations and inventory control
- Event loading dispatch, and returns
- Supervision and team management
- Maintenance and care of equipment
- Enforcement of health, safety and compliance
- Coordination, reporting and accountability
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in storekeeping, warehouse supervision, logistics supervision or asset management, preferably within events, construction, or related industries.
- Diploma or Certificate in Stores Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is an added advantage.
- NYS training and experience is a strong added advantage and will be considered favourably for supervisory placement.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of inventory control, asset management and record-keeping skills.
- Practical understanding of loading, rigging, and handling of events equipment.
- Ability to supervise teams and manage casual labour effectively.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
- High level of accountability, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and irregular hours as dictated by event schedules.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory and reporting.
