A leading organization in the UAE is seeking Procurement Officers – Indirect Procurement to join its team in Abu Dhabi KIZAD. The company is looking for professionals with experience in procurement operations who can support sourcing activities, supplier coordination, and purchasing processes.
The successful candidates will manage indirect procurement activities, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure efficient procurement operations. Candidates with healthcare industry experience will have an added advantage, but it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage indirect procurement activities and purchasing processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to fulfill procurement requirements.
• Support sourcing, vendor evaluation, and supplier relationship management.
• Prepare purchase documentation, reports, and procurement records.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor procurement activities and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
Requirements:
• 3–4 years of experience in Indirect Procurement.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement activities effectively.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Indirect procurement strategies and purchasing procedures.
• Vendor management and supplier coordination.
• Procurement documentation and reporting.
• Cost control, negotiation, and sourcing activities.
