About the job

  • Techwin Limited an engineering company in Kenya is looking for a Solar Technician to join the Projects Department.
  • Are you a Solar Technician with over 3 years’ experience in solar installation?
  • Join this growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting site assessments to determine system requirements, optimal positioning and structural suitability. 
  • Installations commissioning, testing and maintenance of solar systems. 
  • Performing electrical and plumbing connections, troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by monitoring system performance and addressing identified issues. 
  • Providing customers with product information and technical guidance.
  • Supporting solution selection and generating leads through referrals. 
  • Preparing and keeping installation and servicing reports to ensure compliance with quality standards. 

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy from a recognized institution.
  • 3 years’ experience in solar installations.
  • Relevant certifications, such as T3 license will be an added advantage.
  • Valid driving/riding license.
