Description:
Xebia is currently hiring an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer / Manual Test Engineer to join its team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing processes along with hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect tracking within enterprise-level projects.
This role requires strong knowledge of QA methodologies, performance testing, and defect management tools. Candidates must be fluent in Arabic and should be capable of working in fast-paced agile environments. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
The position also involves collaboration with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, along with contributing to test strategy and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute test plans and test strategies for software applications
• Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter when required
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure defect resolution
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and testing methodologies
• Support release cycles and regression testing activities
• Contribute to quality improvement and test process optimization
Requirements:
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing
• Strong expertise in manual testing techniques
• Experience with JIRA for defect tracking and management
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter
• Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium and Appium (preferred)
• Fluent in Arabic (mandatory)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in agile and fast-paced environments
Strong knowledge of:
• Manual testing processes and QA methodologies
• Test planning and execution strategies
• Defect tracking and lifecycle management (JIRA)
• Performance testing concepts (JMeter)
• Test automation tools (Selenium / Appium – good to have)
