Description:
RAQ Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a quality-focused construction professional with extensive experience in building projects and a proven ability to maintain high-quality standards throughout every stage of project execution.
The successful candidate will oversee quality assurance and quality control activities from excavation through project completion and handover. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to landmark building developments across the UAE while working closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee QA/QC activities throughout all phases of building construction projects.
• Ensure construction work complies with approved specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Lead and supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors to maintain consistent quality performance.
• Coordinate closely with technical teams, interior design teams, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct inspections, identify quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Support project delivery through to Testing, Commissioning, and Handover (TOC).
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Mandatory experience working on construction projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Experience managing quality throughout the complete project lifecycle, from excavation to TOC and handover.
• Government project experience will be considered an advantage.
• Proven leadership experience managing QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
• Strong communication, coordination, and multitasking skills.
