Description:

A leading engineering consultancy in Dubai is currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Planning Engineer to join its growing professional team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with extensive expertise in construction planning, scheduling, project controls, and large-scale project coordination within the UAE construction industry.

The company is looking for a motivated professional capable of handling complex developments while ensuring efficient planning, accurate reporting, and timely project delivery across multiple phases of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6

• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with approved timelines and milestones

• Prepare planning reports, progress updates, and project status presentations

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders

• Analyze project performance and identify potential delays or risks

• Support project management teams with scheduling strategies and corrective action plans

• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and construction methodologies

• Assist in forecasting project timelines, resources, and deliverables

• Participate in meetings related to project planning, scheduling, and execution activities

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in construction planning and scheduling

• Strong experience working on UAE or Dubai-based projects is highly preferred

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office applications is mandatory

• Solid understanding of project controls, construction processes, and scheduling techniques

• Excellent communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills

• Consultancy or construction industry background will be considered an advantage

• Ability to manage multiple project activities in a fast-paced environment
